Grant met his wife Ashley in a French class at Western Washington University. They were married in 1999. She is currently a high school French teacher in Bellingham, Washington. The couple was blessed with a son, Cort, in 2001 and have recently adopted a 10-year old girl from Ethiopia. Her name is Bethlehem.
